Horse Racing, a George V silver box presented to horse trainer Cecil Boyd Rochfort (C.B.R.) from Marshall Field III (M.F.) "In memory of our first winner - Golden Corn - July-1-1921". 6" (15cm) wide, 5" (12.5cm) deep, 2¾" (7cm), London, 1920, Crichton Bros. 20oz troy (631g). Golden Corn won the Fulbourne Stakes at Newmarket on 1st July 1921. Sir Cecil Charles Boyd-Rochfort KCVO (1887 – 18 March 1983) was an Irish thoroughbred racehorse trainer who was British flat racing Champion Trainer five times. He trained racehorses for George VI and Elizabeth II until his retirement in 1968. Marshall Field III (1893-1956) was an American investment banker, publisher, racehorse owner/breeder & philanthropist. The Marshall Field III Estate is a mansion built in 1925 on Long Island Sound which was designed by architect John Russell Pope in what is now called Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve. It is a New York State Historic Site.
